PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

· Plan and coordinate ongoing program of monthly exhibitions of nationally and
internationally recognized artists
· Manage art fair applications, coordinate shipping, travel, and other logistical matters regarding art fairs, worked duration of fair including registration, installation and de-installation
· Develop and maintain professional relationships with new and returning clients
· Ensure high public exposure by writing press releases and communicating with local and national media
· Design, proof, and coordinate printing of exhibition announcements and catalogs
· Maintain up-to-date information on gallery's website, artnet.com, and listings in
appropriate publications
· Implemented computer-based system to manage gallery's inventory and to maintain accurate database of contacts; use program to generate specific lists of patrons, helping to identify those supporters who have previously purchased or shown serious interest in an artist's work so that invitations can be extended for special previews, gallery talks, and dinners
· Hire and manage installation staff and oversee design and layout of exhibitions
· Work directly with artists to ensure current images and biographical information is on file
